The Air Force-compliant Tanicus boot has a side zip for easy on and off. Aircraft mechanics working in freezing cold conditions will appreciate the 400g of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation. A non-metallic safety toe provides comparable protection to steel toes but doesn't get cold or set off metal detectors.

Rough Out Leather & 1000 Denier Nylon Upper - Our rough-out, full-grain leather upper is legendary for its durability. We pair it with 1000 Denier nylon for superior protection.
USAF Optional Wear - Meets US Air Force AFI 36-2903 requirement for optional wear.

How It Fits - The 851 last is an update to our popular 850 last. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe.
